Muckrakers Brick
Barrington Stage Company, process shot. We started by gluing on small pieces of split homosote. For this particular set piece, we also had to carve the edge to match up to the brick masonite on either side.
Muckraker's Brick
After the homosote and carving, we used jaxsan and cheesecloth over the carved sections to strengthen them. We used sawdust and jaxsan over the bricks to add more texture and blend out the homosote.

After all the texture, we primed it gray.
